THIS UNIQUE 1930's NAZI SILVERED BAS RELIEF OLYMICS PLAQUE IS FROM THE ESTATE OF NAZI ARMY GENERAL BADER. FRAMED SILVERED WALL PLAQUE ISSUED DURING THE 1936 SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES. THREE DIMENSIONAL BAS-RELIEF STYLE DEPICTING THREE MYTHOLOGICAL GREEKS. ONE IS HOLDING AN ENGRAVED PLAQUE WHICH READS, "Zur Erinnerung an Stuttgart von Emma u. Paul - Otto, Aug. 1936." BOTTOM IS TITLED, "Kunst und Wissenschaft." DARK WOOD, BLACKENED OAK FRAME. MEASURES OVERALL 9" BY 13". GENERAL BADER SERVED AS A LT. IN WWI. HE WAS PROMOTED TO GENERAL OF ARTILLERY BY HITLER IN 1937. HE HEADED THE "BADER TASK FORCE" IN SERBIA IN WWII. HE RETIRED A GERMAN HERO, PRIOR TO GERMANY'S SURRENDER.
